Meet the Artist

As a young child Rufus was deeply comforted and enraptured
by certain powerful paintings that she visited regularly, wishing
she could give this sort of consolation and upliftment to others.
More than half a century later she is a self-taught fine artist, has
held numerous solo exhibitions, has local and international
clients and exhibits extensively.

Her work has been called moving, numinous, consoling and
powerful.

Her dramatic landscapes represent the magnificent grandeur of
the physical world, the deep mystery of our inner realms and
the places we find our Self within both.

The ever present bird symbolises the Spirit’s Song that can be
heard across all realms. The voice of Intuition and Grace.

Rufus works in oils, watercolour, ink, story and mixed mediums.
