Our 2024 Give Back Project

We at Open Studios Kommetjie are thrilled to announce this year’s Give Back project fundraiser, presented in collaboration with the Tiny Art Gallery (TAG) Cape Town. This exciting initiative showcases the work of the 32 incredible artists participating in our 2024 event. Each artist has generously donated a tiny piece of art that represents their current body of work, which you’ll be able to view during the Open Studios Kommetjie weekend from 29 November to 1 December.

Launch Event Highlights

The fundraiser officially launched last Friday, 1 November, at Bluewater Café on Imhoff Farm. We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the café for hosting such a wonderful event, and to Dawn Patrol Wines for treating our guests to some of their superb local wines. The launch was a resounding success, with over 100 tickets being sold on the first day!

Supporting HopeTown

Through means of our Give Back project, we aim to raise a significant amount for our 2024 beneficiary, HopeTown. The anticipated funds have been earmarked for their upcoming crèche project in Ocean View. Your participation can truly make a difference to this important cause.

We encourage you to view TAG in person to see the special collection of teensy artworks up close. The petite gallery will be on display at Bluewater Café until 27 November and will then move to the event information hub at the office of our sponsor, SEEFF Kommetjie, from 28 November to 1 December — the weekend of Open Studios Kommetjie.

Purchase your tickets online for just R100 each. Every entry offers an opportunity to win the entire collection of 32 unique artworks! The more tickets you buy, the better your chances of being the lucky winner.
