Astrid Blumer is a visual artist and illustrator whose work reflects on the convergence of the natural world and feminine energy. Working from her Kommetjie studio, she creates imagined botanicals and symbolic forms using layered brushwork, detailed mark-making, and a rich yet soft colour palette.
