Meet the Artist

Leah Rolando is a photographic artist whose emerging career is defined by her innovative exploration of optical illusions created through the interplay of acrylic panels and hard studio lighting. Her work, characterised by bright colour blocking and meticulous art direction, showcases a harmonious blend of clean lines and captivating shadow play. 

After completing a BA in film and media at AFDA, Leah began her career as a multimedia producer at Primedia Broadcasting. Driven by her passion for photography, she made the decision to transition into a new career path as a commercial photographer. 

Her successful career includes collaborations with some of South Africa’s prominent brands, focusing her expertise on interiors, food, and product photography.
