Meet the Artist

Mariëtte Momberg

Mariëtte Momberg is a visual artist and printmaker working across various genres, including relief printmaking, monotype, cyanotype, and mixed media. Her work often combines print with embroidery, watercolour, and collage to create layered, emotionally resonant pieces that reflect on personal and ecological transformation.

With a background in academia and osteopathy, her creative practice is grounded in a deep interest in the body, the environment, and systems of care. Passionate about sustainability, she uses water-based, low-toxicity materials and incorporates repurposed or recycled elements into much of her work.

Drawn to slow, tactile processes, Mariëtte often uses her work to explore the themes of fragility, resilience, and the shifting boundaries between inner and outer landscapes. Her work is held in private collections both locally and internationally.
